6 Pawtastic reasons You Need to Book a pet pawtrait session!

Updated: Dec 22, 2019

Maybe you’re someone who books one of our pawsome Artisan Sessions every single year without fail, or perhaps you’ve merely toyed with the idea of having a Pet Paw-trait Session done but haven’t ever booked. Whatever the case, I probably don’t have to convince you that having professional images of your pet is a true gift. Pet portraits are crazy adorable and are sure to make you and everyone else deliriously happy. I might be biased, but below are six awesome reasons to celebrate your pawsome pet with a Paw-trait Session and a few amazing sessions I feature here at Paws + Tails Pet Photography as well that I think you'll just LOVE!

1.Puptastic Birthday PAW-TY!

Every doggo has a birthday, and every doggo deserves cake on their birthday. Documenting the hilarity of it all on camera is an absolute must. Let’s go all out with a number balloon, party hats, and confetti during one of our amazing Sessions! PS just because you have a feline or equine, doesn't mean we can't also come up with some PAWTASTIC fun + creative ideas to celebrate your fur-kids special day - no matter what species they happen to be!

2. Gotchya Day + Barkday Celebrations

If you’ve just adopted a new pet into your world, or if you’re celebrating your fur-kids GOTCHYA DAY, you’ve got a perfect excuse to have images taken of your fluff! We can have balloons, hats, cake and confetti, just like with the Barkday Sessions but filled with extra special Adoption fun! I might be a little bias, but these are some of my favorite sessions!

3. Celebrate Your Special Bond, just because your pet is AMAZING!

These sessions are so sweet, and I can tailor them to you and your pet’s exact needs. My goal is always to capture your special bond and to make you and your fur-kid feel safe + have an amazing time celebrating ... the two (or more) of you! Be it strolling on your favorite beach, hiking your favorite trail, sipping lates at your favorite barkery + cafe and everything in between, it's all about you, your fur-kids + your special one of a kind bond.

4. Celebrate the Special Milestones!

Just like humans, pets go through various stages throughout their life and undergo a lot of physical and even personality changes. Be sure to capture all those special milestones just because!

5. Celebrate your Senior Pets

Our pets get older just like us, and those gray muzzles and calmer demeanors are all the reasons to photograph them. Senior pets are incredibly special whether we adopted them in their maturity or have watched them grow up. For Senior Pets (over age 10) or pets who have just been diagnosed with a terminal illness, Paws + Tails Pet Photography has a very special Celebration of Life Session where we celebrate you and your special bond and capture beautiful treasured memories to enjoy long after your fur-kid crosses the rainbow bridge.

6. Artisan Sessions - Celebrate the Seasons or Dress Your Pet Up In Costume! Have some fun + Celebrate with love + lots of laughter, belly rubs + treats!

If you’re going to dress your pet up in an adorable costume, then you better make sure to get high-quality images of the moment! From Easter bunny ears to pumpkin getups at Halloween to elf costumes in December, there’s always something fun to come up with! Be sure to watch for our themed or plain Artisan Sessions as well!
